New for ‘Due

SkijorDue 2025 will be a two day invitational exhibition in the heart of downtown Calgary at The Confluence Historic Site and Parklands.

The new format and location enable us to safely share skijoring with more spectators, presenting a highly entertaining, fast paced spectacle in an accessible venue where our wild, wooly, winter festival can flourish.

Since 2017, SkijorDue has brought our Western and Alpine communities together for cheesy, speedy shenanigans to celebrate our uniquely Albertan culture.

Skijor Canada events evolve with feedback from our fans, participants, sponsors and organizers. With the growing public awareness and support of our sport comes a responsibility to showcase it to the best of our ability.

We extend heartfelt thanks to all the competitors who’ve dallied up or clung to the end of rope over the last 8 years. We encourage skijor enthusiasts to collaborate with their local riding or agricultural organizations to host events and continue to grow our beloved sport.
